I think it's called Little House in the Ozarks, and it's made up of columns Laura wrote, I think for a magazine, before she wrote the Little House books. I've read parts and it's really interesting -- she lived through a lot of changes. It did open a window up to more of what her life was like as an adult. I read something of Rose's, I can't remember what, that indicated all wasn't rosy (pardon the pun -- it wasn't intentional!) in their relationship. She seemed to not quite hold to all of her mother's values if I remember correctly. It would be interesting to have known Laura's thoughts on their adult relationship. I was totally unaware of the controversy surrounding the authorship. I think I'd really enjoy reading this book.
