I thought maybe the juncos had abandoned the nest, but this morning I noticed a single egg in it, and the mother is still around. I got one of those globes that are supposed to drip the water slowly into the soil. We'll see if it works! I don't want to flood the nest or scare the bird.

Beautiful photos. We used to have rabbits visit our yard, but I think our cat scared them off. I'm a bit glad, because I like to eat my own lettuce! I do hope the presence of that bird nest doesn't mean you'll loose your flowers- can you still water them? How lovely it will be to watch the baby birds grow up.

What beautiful pictures! What sweet visitors. I've had mama birds claim our hanging plants as well. I just keep watering them and hope for the best. :) Hasn't seemed to bother them.
