I bought this book when it first came out because I loved the bookcover. I didn't know anything about it and still haven't read it. There seems to be a lot of books like that on my shelf. Must. Read. More. Faster.

I also loved this book, and can't wait to read the sequel I have sitting on my book shelf. So empowering for children that feel different for any reason, gifted like these children or not. Maybe you cannot do some things the majority of people can but you can do things they cannot. Plus, it is just an exciting, suspenseful mystery and I never pass that by. Forgot it was a children's book as I read it.

Okay, I'm convinced. : )

After reading Carrie's review(s), and now yours, how can I NOT read this?

You said everything beautifully, by the way.
