I think your list is wonderful, and I love the goal of reading to your kids and finishing Isaiah:-) My son read Mysterious Benedict Society and he loved it, and has the sequel. I’m hoping to read some great updates/reviews here!

I’ve been known to actually nod off to sleep in the middle of reading to my kids, especially if it’s something really boring to me that we’re homeschooling at the time. Of course, they are very quiet and sneak off.

I really liked your reading goals! I need to read aloud longer to my son as well. He is very active (almost 2) and doesn’t want to sit still. I will have to make a better effort with that.. Have fun reading this Spring.

You’ve set some great goals for the challenge. James reads out loud more to me that I do to him. He likes to read a story to me at bedtime. We’ll compare at the end of the challenge so see what we thought of Mysterious Benedict Society.
