To anyone who’s dropped in here since Friday Thursday night: I’m sorry for all the confusion. Long story, but here’s the way I understand it: all the content of my blog has been deleted by my server in the process of moving the database from one location to another internally. I have an earlier version of the blog backed up (this move was supposed to take place 2 weeks ago, so I was prepared then), but at the moment I’m waiting to see if they can restore it to the version that existed 2 days ago just before the content was lost.
*Edited to add: Posts and comments from 9/1/08 – 10/9/08 were successfully imported at my other blog. (Only fragments would import back to this site.) Posts and comments from 10/10-10/31 were lost. The technical problems appear to be fully resolved, though, and I’ll be posting here regularly again starting with this post.)
Oh no!! I hope it can all be resolved with as soon and as well as possible.
